Be careful what you ask for....

Well, all of our New England friends can now formally thank Louise for the snow & ice that has befallen us today, with more promised Friday, Sunday, Tuesday, Weds, and just for good measure, Christmas too!!   Apparently, it takes approximately five days for Old Man Winter to respond to any gauntlets thrown down by our plucky little transplanted Canuck.  Here are some pics, including before & after pics of Kai throwing his first snowball (at Daddy, mind you; don't worry, he'll be grounded in due time).

I have to admit, its still pretty cool to wake up and see the world wrapped in white!  I only wish we could have tested our new sled w/ Kai, but he had to head off with Mom in the morn.  By the afternoon, some rain had fallen, then frozen over the snow, leaving the yard very un-Kai-friendly (imagine have sheets of ice slice at YOUR knees while trying to walk!)

Here's another couple shots (for our Hawaiian friends to salivate over.  You can keep your warm waters lapping up your stinkin, silken beaches while the sun sets, bleah!!)

Out our front window:

Don't you wish YOUR lanai was covered in snow & ice???
