Most of our readership know that my brother Captain Dr. Mike is currently serving in Afghanistan on a 7 month deployment with the Canadian Military. He sends us weekly emails describing his long days/nights and the work he is doing with a group of international medical professionals. Tonight, Global TV did a news special on the Canadians who have served as the primary medical team in Afghanistan for the last several years. The change in administration here in the US has resulted in the US taking over command as of today. The video below focuses on Mike's roommate, Dr. Brent. But if you look closely, shortly after Brent is first introduced, you can see Mike leaning over a patient and looking up briefly at the screen.
