We have about 3.5 months left in MA. We are in the home stretch now. This has been a crazy few years. We expanded our family by 1 (or 2 actually if you count Mr. Mommy but he doesn't eat much; in fact he is still on the same container of fish food we bought him last June!), we started driving a mini-van (and that is ca-razy), we survived (she says optimistically) grad school at MIT, we made some new friends and we took a few fun trips.
Greg and I have been married now nearly 5 years and we met just over 7 years ago. We've been busy:
was the year of meeting and getting to know each other - each of us having events happen in our lives in April 04 that caused us to both be in Hawaii that fall and then it all began....
was the year of being very busy - getting engaged, wedding planning and travel - lots of wonderful travel - New Zealand, France, Ireland, England, Canada, mainland US, inter-island. Oh and selling Greg's condo and buying our Kailua place.
was the year of our wedding - seeing so many of our family and friends and some travel in there too.
was the year of Kai. We became parents and fell hopelessly in love.
was the end of tropical island life and our move to the North East. That year brought challenges as well as some good times, as always.
was the year of being pregnant. Since Teia was born in mid-October, I spent most of that year sick, tired and uncomfortable but the end result was our little Power Peach .... entirely worth it.
was a blur .....
is the year we pack up again and head West...and South...to San Diego. Yep, SoCal. Kai gets to grow up on the beach after all!
