Bedford really does go all out for Bedford Day. There were hot air balloon rides (if you count staying 50 ft above ground and tethered a balloon ride). But, hey I shouldn't knock it, all the little kids and puppies up in that balloon looked pretty excited. High school cheerleaders and the local dance studio put on shows, there were booths promoting all kinds of community activities from historical heritage stuff to art to organic food to gardening. Folks were selling baked goods and there was a good old fashioned dunk tank. What's a fall fair w/o a dunk tank?
The best part of all was the Bedford Parade so I thought I'd share some photos:
This is the only parade I've been to that consisted mostly of trucks and heavy duty farm equipment.
